Description

Main specifications and models of partition keel
Classify by series.
50 series: Suitable for partition walls with a height of less than 3.5m, the vertical keel specification is usually 50 x 50 x 0.6mm (width x height x thickness). ‌‌
75 series: suitable for partition walls with a height of 3.5~6m, with vertical keel specifications of 75 × 50 × 0.6mm
100 series: suitable for partition walls with a height of over 6m, with vertical keel specifications of 100 × 50 × 0.7mm or 100 × 45 × 0.6mm
150 series: Used for ultra-high or special load-bearing requirements, specific specifications need to be customized. ‌‌
Classify by cross-sectional shape.
C-type keel: mainly used for vertical keels, such as 75 × 50 × 0.6mm (75 series) and 100 × 50 × 0.7mm (100 series). ‌‌‌‌
U-shaped keel: used for supporting the top and bottom of sky and earth keels, such as 75 × 35 × 0.6mm (75 series) and 38 × 12 × 1.0mm (38 series). ‌‌‌‌
L-shaped/V-shaped keel: used for fixing edges and corners, such as 50 × 19 × 0.5mm (edge keel). ‌‌
Other key parameters.
Thickness: usually 0.5-1.2mm, and for scenarios with high load-bearing requirements, a thickness of 1.0mm or more should be selected. ‌‌‌‌
Length: The standard length is 3m, and some manufacturers offer customized options of 2.6-4m. ‌‌
Galvanization requirement: The double-sided galvanizing amount must be ≥ 120g/m ² to ensure rust prevention performance. ‌‌
Selection suggestions
Ordinary residential partition wall: Priority should be given to choosing the 75 series C-shaped vertical keel (75 × 50 × 0.6mm) with U-shaped sky and earth keel. ‌‌‌‌
Commercial spaces or high-rise partition walls: It is recommended to use 100 series vertical keels (100 × 50 × 0.7mm) to enhance stability. ‌‌
Acceptance criteria: It is necessary to check whether the galvanized layer is uniform and free of peeling, and verify the product certificate with national standards (such as GB/T 11981-2001). ‌‌
